Line Design

A design in which line direction is dominant, characterized by open silhouette, a minimum of plant material and other optional components.

Vertical Line Design:
Dominant thrust is vertically upward and downward and may have more than one focal point. However, focal area(s) must not destroy the vertical thrust.

Horizontal Line Design:
Dominant thrust is vertically side to side and may have more than one focal point. However, focal area(s) must not destroy the horizontal thrust.
